The 2025 council audit
A full-year written-record audit of Iqaluit council and committee business. Every available minute set has been checked; missing or unverified records remain visible instead of being treated as silence.
Questions, motions and substantive decisions indexed.
Questions documented in official minutes; audio may add more later.
This page is the audit summary. The meeting archive holds the record-by-record evidence, links and audit-depth label. Open the 2025 meeting record →

This is not a silence ranking. A person may have spoken without asking a question, and recordings may contain questions that the minutes omitted.
2025 is where many 2026 decisions began
The audited record connects 2025 committee recommendations and approvals to the 2026 operating and capital budgets, water-system contracts, housing and land decisions, committee restructuring and other later spending. Financial events stay separate: an application, budget allocation, amendment and contract award are not automatically added together.

“Written record audited” means the available official minutes were read and indexed for questions, motions and substantive decisions. It does not mean the year’s recordings have been audited. The five gaps above remain plainly labelled.
