Mayor Awa asked if the taxi fare would increase and if so, what would the amount be.

- Rod Mugford, Acting Chief Administrative Officer, advised that taxi fares would not be increasing. He advised that the revision to the by-law establishes a minimum and maximum fare that can be charged. Mr. Mugford noted that the revision allows for a public transit bus service with a lower fare which eliminates the need to establish a public transit by-law.
