Councillor Stevenson asked what the reference to an Inuit-owned developer meant so he could determine whether he had a conflict of interest.

- Result or follow-up
- Stevenson concluded that no decision about a particular developer was before the committee and did not declare a conflict at that time.
Deputy Mayor Smith commented that it appeared that the room was very small, with no windows, and asked if there were requirements regarding the space.
- Answer recorded
- Ms. Toffolo explained that the Zoning By-law required a home-based business to have a dedicated floor space of no more than 25 percent of the entire floor space. She noted that a daycare requires an access to a bathroom, kitchen facilities and outdoor space. Ms. Toffolo advised that daycare approval was subject to licensing through the Department of Education.

Councillor Nattaq asked if the outdoor space would be viewed by the neighbours.

She noted that the outdoor space was located at the front of the property and no units would overlook the outdoor space.
