DECISIONS AND ISSUES
- The minutes identify this as the last council meeting before the October 23 municipal election. The meeting opened at 6 p.m. and adjourned at 6:59 p.m.
- Motion 23-313 approved the Housing Action Plan addendum recommended October 3. Approval of an action plan is not confirmation of a funding award.
- Motion 23-312 approved the Joamie Court subdivision 5–1. Amarapala, Curley, Sheppard, Smith and Tilley voted for; Stevenson opposed. This is a council vote, distinct from the October 3 committee recommendation.
- Motion 23-315 directed the West 40 subdivision plan to return in 2024 after studies and consultation, with a minimum three-hectare dog-team parcel. Whether that follow-up occurred has not been verified here.
- Motion 23-318 reallocated $10,228,997 in General Fund project authority. The registry lists $8,550,020 for the Waste Transfer Station, $120,000 for Aquatic Centre chlorine upgrades, $168,000 for the Youth Wellness Assessment and $1,390,977 for Public Works as-and-when contracts. These are reallocations, not verified payments, contract awards or final costs.
- Formal Statements were recorded from Smith, Sheppard and Curley. They are not added to the current-term statement ledger.
