DECISIONS AND ISSUES
- The committee opened at 6 p.m. and adjourned at 7:23 p.m. Motions PD23-56 through PD23-65 are indexed separately from council motions.
- A preliminary presentation proposed three eight-storey residential and mixed-use buildings on Sivumugiaq Street. Members asked about storage, height and environmental assessment. This was early input, not development approval or proof that units were built.
- PD23-62 recommended the Housing Action Plan addendum. Council subsequently approved it through motion 23-313 on October 10.
- PD23-61 recommended the Joamie Court subdivision 3–2. Amarapala, Sheppard and Tilley voted for; Curley and Stevenson opposed. Do not substitute this committee vote for the later council vote.
- PD23-64 recommended the West 40 changes and a 2024 subdivision-plan return after studies and consultation. Questions addressed industrial buffers, dog-team land and the effect of cultural-heritage designation.
- Sheppard declared a conflict on DP23-032 because of a business relationship. No vote is inferred for him on that item.
